About the Doncaster VW Festival
The Doncaster VW Festival is a two-day gathering for air-cooled and modern Volkswagen owners, held every September beside the River Don at Parklands. What started as a small local meet has grown into one of the friendlier stops on the UK VW calendar, drawing Beetles, campers, Type 3s and modified show cars from across Yorkshire and further afield. Owners, families and first-time visitors are all welcome.
Weekend camping pitches at the Doncaster VW Festival are available on-site for 30 pounds, letting you settle in on the Friday evening ahead of two full days of cars, live music and a free autojumble. The trader village runs throughout the weekend, with parts specialists, clothing stalls and food vendors setting up alongside the show field, and if you’d like to book a pitch, details are on the Traders and Suppliers page. Doncaster itself has plenty to see beyond the showground; Visit Doncaster has ideas for making a longer weekend of it.
Tickets for the Doncaster VW Festival are available on the gate across Saturday and Sunday, with under-16s going free throughout. Full pricing for weekend camping and single-day entry is listed above.
